This summer, I was invited to an amazing advocates weekend where I was able to spend time with other people who use the same hearing device that I do. This was a phenomenal experience, as it is not at all a common device. Prior to this weekend, I had only met three people who used this device. I shared about how much that weekend impacted me here.
