Support and advocacy for Acoustic Neuroma (Vestibular Schwannoma) and hearing loss (especially single sided deafness)

Places I Have Found Community Online

Both brain tumors and hearing loss can be isolating. It’s so hard when you feel like the people in your life can’t even begin to understand your experience. Just hearing that someone else has shared a similar experience can be extremely healing. Many times, people who have walked the path before you have found elegant solutions that you can utilize. Becoming more involved in the acoustic neuroma community and the hearing loss community has been extremely beneficial for me. There is something special about connecting with people who get it. So I wanted to share some of my favorite places on the internet where I have found these wonderful connection points.
